A popular hypothesis for how life first came to exist on our planet is that it arrived on a meteorite. The impact created by the projectile puncturing the earth's crust created volcanic vents which fed the incredibly hearty bacteria that survived the trip to earth. 

But of course, this raises an obvious question. Where did that bacteria come from? We haven’t found any life on other planets. One possibility, as likely as any other, is that these came from a part of the universe where life is more common. Potentially even an interplanetary society! 

To this society, we are a spooky outpost of life in the wilderness. Without us ever knowing, they are watching from a polite distance. While it would take lifetimes for their ships to reach Earth, they have access to everything we have put on the internet. 


Option A: In this society, the most common religion features a messiah narrative where the son of god is sacrificed and then comes back from the dead. That son’s name is “Bejum.” Do you take Christianity more or less seriously?
